Not to be overlooked!

Last night was the first session of Missions Conference. Missions Conference is jsut like any other conference that might be for women, men, or club cars; whatever gives the imagery. The focus here is Missionary work. This is one of the excting highlights of the semester as we are visited by over Onr-Hundred agencies that come to share, encourage, exhort and respond to any questions or desires that we have toward serving God in this way.

Lately there has been a consistent focus towards us students from speakers that has been directed on our specific and intamitely private relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.

The mention of danger that comes from complacency, consumerism christianity and activist christianity. to the point that we are finding our significance in either what God does for us or what we are doing for Him rather that what He cares about. Which is that we know Him, be with Him and love Him. to be with Him. the problem with us wanting everything that involves Him with the exception of HIM....wowwww.....Ive loved it because it truly has been confirmation for some of the heart cry that me and some peers of mine have shared...still it is convicting to hear....Because the Word of God applies to every believer and non-believer...

Remember that the extent of your Prayer Life very much reflects the relationship between you and God whether you think so or not...

Lastly, this may just be a personal issue of perspective and how i think within myself...But why do we clap after worshipping God and why do we clap after we've heard God speak...worship does not end when the music ends, And the Word is too important to not st and reflect on after God has spoken then to just clap and moe on....culturally we may be afraid of silence and praise of the lips...but this will need to be broken because worship is direct and so is the message....So lets let the world and each other know where this is directed. not that were not worshipping in spirit and truth, just that corporately it definatly isnt having that effect. and that says something......anyway, i look forward to the rest of the week and the sessions inbetween working...thank God for work-study...love yall. get at you later
shout out to my cousins Tiara and Frances...thanks for the advice and love...praying for yall

hey mom, hey dad!
